At-a-Glance For most of its history, Noe Valley was known as a quaint, remote and relatively inexpensive neighborhood. But with the dot-com boom of the early 90s, all of that changed when, inspired by a shortage of available housing, the neighborhood was discovered by a more white-collar crowd who snapped up properties and began to make Noe Valley their homes.
